TERMS OF BUSINESS

Key Terms

When buying an item from Sarren Joinery Limited, t/a Porchman UK, you agree that:

(i) You will read and accept the quote / invoice before making a commitment to buy our products.

(ii) You enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buying and pay a deposit to Sarren Joinery Limited.

(iii) When placing an order with Sarren Joinery Limited t/a Porchman UK, once you agree to pay a deposit amount of what is set out on your invoice and payment is made. This is then non-refundable, as the deposit amount is used to purchase materials required, unless agreed directly with Sarren Joinery Limited.

(iv) A timescale of delivery / works to be completed will always be guide time as often material / stock orders can run late from our suppliers or previous work may take extra time. We will always aim to keep you up to date with times scales/dates.

(v) Our products that are made of green oak – you should expect that green oak will split and crack, expand, shrink, grey (if left untreated) and age. Green Oak is a high moisture oak, this basically means that when is starts to dry and age you can expect to see splits and cracks in the wood, some shrinkage to and when is gets weather wet you can expect that is will expand. This Oak is used for Open Porches.

The prices we charge for our product and works complete. 

We reserve the right to change our prices for products at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. 

Claims 

When we receive a valid claim for a product purchased from us, we will either repair the relevant defect or replace the product, at our discretion. (This does not include Oak splitting, cracking, greying, shrinkage, natural movement, or age-related issues) 

We will pay for shipment of repaired or replaced products to customer and customer will be responsible for return shipment of the product to us.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sarren Joinery Limited t/a Porchman UK harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including solicitor fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the product purchased.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Sarren Joinery Limited be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses arising

Customer Details

By providing your contact details, you agree to Sarren Joinery Limited t/a Porchman UK to using these details to contact you regarding your purchase. This includes messages and materials from us by mail, email, or any other contact form that you may provide us with. If you do not want to receive such materials or notices, please just notify us at any time. Sarren Joinery Limited will never share your contact details with any third or external parties.

Social Media

We reserve the right to use all photographs / videos / Media from all works manufactured by Sarren Joinery Limited, t/a Porchman UK on all our social media platforms and websites. If you, the customer disagrees with or have a preference to what we may use images on, please speak to Sarren Joinery Limited t/a Porchman UK.
